This cooking class will focus on 6-8 new recipes to get you energised. It is so important to boost your immune system during winter season, when all your co-workers surround you with flu symptoms. Winter is also a time where you want to “let go” of all your healthy habits and just hide away, but the recipes we are going to focus on in this class, will be packed with ingredients to enthuse you with energy – to get you up from the couch and ready to embrace the day! Come enjoy this class with warm-friendly new people that will definitely become friends after some great meals together!
Enjoy the intimate and interactive hands-on cooking experience, where you can learn and ask questions about what we are cooking or about living the gorgeous healthy lifestyle in general. We will explore a few new recipes to add to your new healthy lifestyle, then sit down at the end to taste your beautiful creations and chat more about being healthy and happy!
Food is the most powerful medicine to heal chronic disease. I have come to learn that what you eat is your medicine and that your kitchen is your pharmacy. Unfortunately, most of us don’t eat food, we eat food-like substances. Cooking is a revolutionary act to transform your health and our food system. I don’t know about you, but I was taught that food was energy, calories, fuel for our bodies, but it is so much more! Food is actually information. It’s a code that can upgrade or downgrade your biological software with every single bite. And the best part of it is that eating whole-real food is simple, once you learn the basics.
Reasons for me teaching these classes are:
- People are confused by what they should eat
- People think that eating healthy is more expensive
- People think that healthy food should be boring and tasteless
- People are looking for nutrient-dense recipes that are easy to make and TASTE amazing!
I was blessed to grow up in a home where my granddad had his own vegetable garden and my mom was a super brilliant cook. And I spent most of my life observing her prepare meals with so much love and care for us and others and my fondest memories are those around a table. Still to this day, making food for family and friends is one of the greatest joys of my life!
The classes provide super, simple, basic cooking instructions. Simple and ridiculously delicious recipes. You could eat better and feel better without any deprivation. We will cover different recipes that include, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, but recipes that are nutrient-dense and delicious. Things for breakfast and lunch and dinner and desserts and snacks.
Come learn how to create a conscious kitchen and choose your ingredients that nourish your body, delight your palette, and to avoid food that fuel disease.
Cooking is the essential act that makes us human and it connects us to what is real and important: the earth, nature, family, community. For me, cooking food has always been a source of joy, a source of nourishment, connection and exploration.
