My name is Anicke Novi, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.
That’s the story of my life in six words – my personal definition of what I’m all about, at least for now.
I think of it as my mini-memoir, but in writing it I was reminded that my definition has always been and still is EVOLVING. Words I would have used last year don’t apply today. Because if we’re really committed to growth, we never stop discovering new dimensions of self and self-expression.
The quote of Michelle Obama captures my heart and journey. A journey that has been evolving over so many years, so many conversations, so many people that has influenced and inspired my journey. Its become my way of living… a forward motion towards a better self. In this journey I’ve fallen, I’ve stood up. I’ve failed and I’ve succeeded. But I continuously learned about myself and the world around me. I definitely don’t have all the answers and never will, but in me there will always be a quest to search and seek and learn and become the best version of myself, whatever that may fully mean. So much to still discover!
I believe that we, as women, have incredible things to contribute to this world. But, when we’re stressing about what to eat and how we look or how much we weigh, waiting on perfection, or constantly comparing ourselves to others, we take away our own power. Ultimately, chasing these outcomes robs us of the freedom, peace, and joy we desire. And, it robs the world of the gifts we have to offer.
If I could time travel, I would hug my younger self and share the truths I have discovered on this journey thus far. But, since I can’t, I’m doing the next best thing I can think of: sharing them with you.
I am educated in the fields of nutrition, health + wellness, bio-individuality and mentoring through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I listen to your concerns, providing appropriate support and motivation to help you make healthy choices based on your uniqueness. Together we can achieve your health goals through realistic lifestyle and behavior adjustments.
As a health coach, I help you discover where you want to be, where you are now and what is holding you back. We work together to remove the obstacles that stand in the way of success, and arm you with the tools, mindset shifts, new habits and routines, (and of course delicious + nutritious recipes!) necessary to change. And though this is a partnership, success relies on you! I challenge my clients to step outside their comfort zone because that is how you grow.
We work at a pace that is comfortable for you, as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to a healthy lifestyle. Finding the balance and rhythm that works with your bio-individuality is the key. I encourage a positive relationship between the body and the mind.
